SaaS2Cloud NG Service Description
The Service provides:

  • the Management plane within the supported region specified within the Order Form.
  • the Data plane within the supported region specified within the Order Form.

The Web UI (Management plane) is used to manage the Service including configuration of the data plane and enabling data protection by assigning a Source object to a policy for protection. No End User data is accessed and or processed within this plane.

HYCU VMs (Workers) responsible for connecting to the Source and copying data from the Source to a S3 Compatible storage endpoint with support for Immutability (Target) with or without Encryption collectively comprise the (Data plane).

Policies (Policy)
Enable the scheduling of automatic backups to achieve the optimum level of data protection based on your recovery point (RPO) and time objectives (RTO) and backup retention.

Target Encryption (Encryption)
Enables the encryption of all data stored on the Target with an encryption key, configured within the Management plane.

Note: The storage and safe keeping of the Encryption Keys are the responsibility of the End User or, where applicable, the Reseller. If the Encryption Keys are lost, data is not recoverable

Where a SaaS2Cloud NG SKU is billed per user, the following criteria will be used to calculate the billable user count:
